About us

Florida-built homes from the people who actually build them.

Bright open plan interior

Custom Homes is a factory direct dealer for Jacobsen Homes — Florida's largest manufactured home builder, with a factory based in Safety Harbor since 1959.

From our lot at 34299 US Hwy 27 in Haines City, we help families customize and order new manufactured and modular homes, then deliver and install them on their land anywhere in the state.

Because we sell direct, you skip the middleman, get more home for the money, and talk to the same person from your first lot visit through installation day.

Warranty

Backed by a 10-year structural warranty.

Every new Jacobsen manufactured and modular home built after June 1, 2018 includes a 10-year, $50,000 insurance-backed structural warranty through 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty (2-10 HBW) — at no extra cost to you.

That means peace of mind on the parts of your home that matter most: the frame, roof, and load-bearing structure are protected for a full decade — no matter where in Florida we install it.

What's covered

Qualifying load-bearing, frame-up structural defects, including:

  • Roof framing, joists, rafters & trusses
  • Load-bearing walls
  • Beams and columns
  • Floor joists and trusses
  • Interior & exterior walls and partitions

What's not covered

A structural warranty is not home insurance. The 2-10 HBW plan does not cover:

  • Items not supplied or installed by Jacobsen
  • Damage to the foundation
  • Damage from transportation or site install
  • Storm, fire & vandalism (covered by home insurance)
  • Damage to surrounding real property

How it works

Step 1
Register your home

Create an account in the 2-10 HBW homeowner portal and access your digital warranty book and Certificate of Warranty.

Step 2
Add optional coverage

Step 3
File a claim if needed

Submit a written claim within 60 days of discovering a qualifying structural issue — we'll help you through the process.
